Fifty students from Redmond’s Norman Rockwell Elementary School will present “Around the World in 80 Hours” at 7 p.m. Friday, April 16 and at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at the Redmond High School Performing Arts Center, 17272 NE 104th St. Tickets are $5.
Based on Jules Verne’s classic “Around the World in 80 Days,” the production features song and dances from the American Midwest to England, Argentina, Italy and more. The young thespians from Rockwell have been working under the guidance of Studio East, with directors Dan Shelhamer and Karen Ann Daniels.
