Columbia Children’s Choir holding auditions for new members

The Columbia Children’s Choir is inviting boys and girls in first through eighth grades to sign up for membership.

No experience is necessary, but the ability to carry a tune and concentrate is required. Practices are September through June from 4:30-6 p.m. at Redmond High School, 17272 N.E. 104th St. and Faith Lutheran Church, 9041 166th Ave. N.E. New members will join in immediately.

The Columbia Children’s Choir is committed to making singing as fun as possible for children through positive, well-organized rehearsals and performances lead by professional musicians. They provide international-quality learning experiences using carefully selected songs for age-appropriateness and message content.

Performances will be held throughout the region in concert halls such as Benaroya Hall, retirement homes, schools, stadiums such as Safeco Field, Century Link Field and civic events.
