Redmond’s award-winning winery, Northwest Totem Cellars, will be among participants at Kirkland Uncorked: Wine, Dine & Design on the Waterfront. The festival takes place July 16-18 at Marina Park, 25 Lakeshore Plaza in Kirkland.
Hours are 5-10 p.m. Friday, July 16; 1-10 p.m. Saturday, July 17; and 1-6 p.m. Sunday, July 18.
Admission to the festival is free, but guests 21 and over, who want to enter the wine tasting garden, must purchase tickets, which are $20 in advance or $25 at the gate.
Admission to the tasting garden includes a commemorative glass and 10 tasting tokens. Wine samples cost one to three tokens each. Additional tasting tokens are available for $1.25. Non-drinking admission to the tasting garden can be purchased for $15 at the door.
A portion of admission fees collected will be donated to The Hope Heart Institute to fund local research and education to fight heart disease.
Kirkland Uncorked will also feature a promenade that is free for for all ages and includes more than 40 artists, a boat show and a Cover Dog Contest.
City Dog Magazine is hosting the third annual Cover Dog contest on Sunday at noon. All dogs are welcome to enter.
Also at Kirkland Uncorked, regional restaurants will sell and offer samples of foods and beverages, and local chefs will compete in a grill-off at 5 p.m. Saturday.
