Thank you Inslee
I am proud to have my Gov. Jay Inslee, fight for climate action!
He stopped the largest oil terminal in North America from being built in Vancouver, Washington and he can stop massive fracked gas expansions this year.
Fracked natural gas is not clean. Two thirds of all natural gas in the United States is fracked. Fracking damages public health, pollutes water and contributes to climate change. Fracked gas is 86 times as warming as carbon dioxide. The world’s largest fracked gas-to-methanol refinery would become Washington’s largest climate polluter by 2025.
I personally don’t wish to live out the rest of my life wondering if it could be cut short by breathing contaminated air brought on by fracking. I want to thank Gov. Inslee for protecting us from fossil fuel projects and urge him to stop the methanol refinery in Kalama and the LNG Facility in Tacoma.
