I think the idea of releasing the Strategic Oil Reserves is a bad idea.

It will solve nothing in regards to the so-called oil shortages in our country. It will only dig into the emergency sources and reduce it, which means we will only have to get more oil from other sources.

Nothing is ever mentioned about this, but the U.S. is sitting on more oil supplies than is available in the whole Middle East. However, it seems the environmentalists don’t want to either drill or produce more oil here at home.
