Red-light cameras will deter Redmond visitors

Please ban the use of red-light cameras in Redmond. I and many people have stopped visiting and spending money in Lynnwood because of its overly aggressive use of these cameras. You cannot even drive on their side streets without being watched by a camera.

Once the State Route 520 bridge toll is up and running do you really think people will drive to Redmond, pay a lot for gas, pay the toll, and risk being caught on one of those revenue generating cameras?

I bet they will not come to Redmond  by choice. I wouldn’t if I didn’t live here. Would we rather give money to the company supplying the cameras, that we all know are not safe and do not deter reckless driving, or should we support the businesses that make Redmond Redmond?
