Jim Robinson, who wrote a letter to the editor in the Jan. 1 edition, thinks that bicyclists should be licensed just like cars because they get to use bike lanes.
I’m all for this with one caveat: Since 90 percent of Redmond drivers are completely incapable of keeping their cars out of the bike-only lanes, they should have to pay the same fee that cyclists do.
Will that work, Mr. Robinson?
