Right now, I’m amazed that Susan Hutchison is leading in the polls.
I was talking to a lady the other day and she told me “she wouldn’t vote for someone just cause they were on King County Council.”
So apparently some King County voters don’t think experience in government is a prerequisite to running for King County Executive?
Susan Hutchison enjoys a huge amount of name recognition, but if you are an informed voter, just look at both candidates bios and experience. The most Susan has done is to chair a few big community organizations. She has no experience in public office.
But Dow has been on King County Council. He was on the Committee dealing with transit, one of King County’s biggest issues.
Voters, you have to learn about our candidates rather than just voting for the name you’ve heard.
I’m only a high schooler living in Redmond, so I don’t even have a vote. So if I can take the time to learn about the race and know who I support and why I support them, you should be able to as well.
And once people start getting informed, I’m sure the polls will start moving in favor of Dow Constantine.
