I recently saw 45th District Sen. Eric Oemig’s attack ad about candidate Andy Hill.
I must state here that I have personally known Andy and his family for several years. Andy has served his community as a parent volunteer for our school’s PTSA. He’s been a soccer coach for years in his community.
But most importantly, after only a few months of finding out that the battle for his life from cancer was essentially over, he took a look at his good fortune and decided he wanted a better place for his kids and others. He signed up to run for office. That doesn’t make him a politician in my book. That makes him a pretty remarkable man.
Andy Hill is a numbers man. He knows how to keep the “books.” We need someone like him to try to get this state out of the horrible financial mess we are in.
Eric Oemig needs to run a dirty campaign to hide his terrible record. I’ll be voting for Andy Hill, and if he wins, this state might just get the right man for the right time.
