Former Redmond resident David H. Witt has been named as the Executive Director for the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce.

His first official day will be Monday.

Witt has lived on the Eastside since 1991 when he was transferred by American Airlines from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas as the airlines’ Regional Sales Manager. Since then he has worked for the Port of Seattle as Director of Marketing and Customer Service and with Medical Teams International as Director of Operations and Corporate Development.

He has been involved with many nonprofits and service organizations, including PONCHO, the Japanese-American Chamber of Commerce, the Japan-America Society, Children’s Hospital and Rotary.

Witt and his wife, Mary, reside in Woodinville, having moved here recently from Redmond, where they raised their two children, Alison and Preston. Dave enjoys family activities, golf and his role as sous-chef for Mary.

Dave will be publically introduced at the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce Dec. 17 holiday lunch event.
