Roos Orthodontics, 16150 NE 85th St., Suite 124, in Redmond’s Village Square, is sponsoring a holiday fundraiser for an orphanage at Botshabelo, brought to their attention by a South African dentist — Amanda Laubscher — who now lives in Redmond.

Botshabelo is situated in the rural grasslands of South Africa and comprised of a school, orphanage, medical clinic and village. Help is provided for anyone who needs it, regardless of background or age. The volunteers particularly care for children whose families can’t provide for them and those orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Some of the children are living with HIV also.
