Earlier this year, JPMorgan Chase & Co. launched Small Business Forward, a five-year, $30 million grant program to boost small business support networks that help growing enterprises in specific industries.

OneRedmond will receive a $225,000 investment through the program to support the Washington Interactive Network (WIN) to grow interactive media technology companies that are generating high-quality jobs across the Puget Sound. It is only 1 of 10 programs in the nation being supported through the initiative.

OneRedmond’s WIN effort will be led by director of business expansion Kristina Hudson. The program has several objectives to grow interactive media and gaming companies including small business technical assistance and training, a business knowledge program, the convening of CEO roundtables in the sector, specific outreach to women and minorities and international business development.

WIN builds on the efforts incubated by the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County and the Innovation Partnership Zone partnered by the City of Redmond.
