McDonald’s adds new beverages; free samples offered on Dec. 3-5

Beginning Monday, Nov. 23, McDonald’s adds an indulgent new treat to its menu, allowing customers in Western Washington to be among the first in the country to taste the new McCafé Frappé blended-ice beverages.

McCafé Frappés are thick and creamy, blended-ice drinks available in either mocha or caramel, with a hint of coffee, and served with whipped cream and either chocolate or caramel drizzle, giving customers an any-time-of-day blended treat on the McCafé menu.

On Dec. 3, 4 and 5, customers can sample free McCafé Frappés from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Redmond McDonald’s locations are 16975 Redmond Way and 23545 NE Novelty Hill Rd.

McCafé Frappés are available at participating McDonald’s with additional locations offering the new beverages in the coming months. Prices for Frappés vary by restaurant and region, but in Western Washington a small McCafé Frappé will cost $2.29 and can be purchased in the restaurant or at the drive-thru.
