The owners of the Mayuri Family of Food businesses, a leader in specialty foods in the Seattle area, have closed their popular Bellevue restaurant and moved to a freestanding building a few blocks away at 2115 Bel-Red Road in Redmond.

Situated on a prominent corner, the restaurant is surrounded by a large guest parking lot and a seasonal patio adjacent to the saffron-colored building. The 130-seat Indian restaurant and bar opened in mid-September.

“We are happy to have expanded and added a bar: beer, wine and cocktail service are now be available to our loyal customers,” says Ramesh Bachala, founder.

The move allows for a significant upgrade to the dining experience for many daytime tech workers and local patrons. The new location also has a larger kitchen and has a contemporary feel. Happy hour and daily specials join the current format of an abundantly, fresh lunch buffet with quick, friendly service and a-la-carte dinner menu.

“Our customers are Indian and non-Indian, coming from our eclectic neighborhood, which has added apartments and businesses within walking distance. We think this physical expansion and enhancement, plus adding beer, wine and a cocktail program will serve us well to keep pace with guest demand sustaining Mayuri into the future,” explains Ramesh.
