Help fight breast cancer with Panera Pink Ribbon Bagels

This October, Panera Bread stores, including the Redmond location at 17262 Redmond Way, are inviting customers to join the fight against breast cancer with their signature Pink Ribbon Bagels.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of the Panera Pink Ribbon Bagels will benefit breast cancer causes nationwide, including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Breast Cancer Network of Strength and various local charities and hospitals.

The Pink Ribbon Bagel, baked fresh daily, features cherry chips, dried cherries and cranberries, vanilla, honey and brown sugar and is formed in the shape of the celebrated pink ribbon. The product follows the tradition of “thinking pink” during the month of October, to eradicate breast cancer disease.

Sue Stees, one of Panera Bread’s first franchisees and a breast cancer survivor, developed the idea for the Pink Ribbon Bagel in 2001 as a way to help support the cause.

The Panera Pink Ribbon Bagels will sell for $1.25 each.
