I have been reading all the articles and letters to the editor on the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) levy and one thing comes to mind is the sake of the children.
Regardless, if the LWSD did not use the money they already had wisely, are we now going to punish the children for this? It infuriates me that in all the comments made against the levy, the thought of how this will impact the children is somehow left out. For the parents who send their children to private school really do not have to worry about overcrowded classrooms. It is so easy to say no to the levy to show LWSD that funding in the past was not spent the way it should have, so in return, we are going to punish LWSD and punish the children, as well.
