A motorcyclist was critically injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center after colliding with a pickup truck Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast Union Hill Road and 208th Avenue Northeast in unincorporated King County, just outside of Redmond.

Sgt. Cindi West for the King County Sheriff’s Office said the two vehicles were moving along Northeast Union Hill Road in opposite directions and the truck driver made a left turn. She said they have not yet determined who had the right of way.

West said Friday afternoon that the truck driver did not appear to be injured and that she does not have an update on the motorcyclist’s condition.
