Two Redmond High School (RHS) teams competed and placed at the Knowledge Bowl Regional Tournament at Mt. Tahoma High School on March 3.

The first team of Maya Balakrishnan, Tara Balakrishnan, Jihoon Lee, Ashwin Raghuraman and Milo Wilkes took third place in the 4A division and went on to the state tournament on March 17 at Marysville-Pilchuk High School. This is the fourth year out of the four years that RHS has participated in that at least one Knowledge Bowl team has made it to state.

The second team of Rebecca Ballantyne, Hiram Munn, Dhaaruni Sreenivas, Nolan Miller and Edward Zhang took sixth place and missed a state tournament berth by one point.
