Redmond’s Michael Mattingly and band to perform at UW’s Meany Hall Ethiopia

Redmond resident Michael Mattingly and his band Apple Jam will perform at the University of Washington's (UW) Meany Hall on June 15 at 8 p.m.

Redmond resident Michael Mattingly and his band Apple Jam will perform at the University of Washington’s (UW) Meany Hall on June 15 at 8 p.m.

The event, “On the Wings of a Nightingale,” will benefit Seattle Anesthesia Outreach to improve medical and surgical care in Ethiopia.

General admission tickets are $45 and VIP tickets are $85. Tickets with a UW ID are $35. Tickets are available online at brownpapertickets.com/event/235512 or over the phone at 1-800-838-3006.

Apple Jam will be playing music by The Beatles.

Arik Kormand from The Bob Rivers Show on 95.7 KJR-FM will host the event and special guests for the event will include Alan White, Kurtis Dengler, Craig Terrill and Jakael Tristram.

Meany Hall is located on the UW campus near the intersection of 15th Ave. N.E. and N.E. 40th St.
