Redmond and Kirkland members of the Sammamish Trails Boy Scouts District will be out in the community March 17-18 seeking donations for the Redmond-based Hopelink food bank as part of a region-wide Scouting for Food Drive.
Local Cub Scout Pack members will putting up door hangers asking for food donations. Residents who want to participate are asked to leave their donated items on their doorsteps by 8 a.m. March 24 and then Cub Scouts will pick up the donations later that day and take them to a local food bank. Then local Boy Scouts will help sort and shelf the donations at the food banks.
