Redmond Historical Society meeting on Sept. 10 to feature Jeni Craswell of Realize Redmond

The Redmond Historical Society's (RHS) next meeting will be Sept. 10 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, located at 16600 N.E. 80 St.

The Redmond Historical Society’s (RHS) next meeting will be Sept. 10 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, located at 16600 N.E. 80 St.

Jeni Craswell, executive director of Realize Redmond, will speak on the Realize Redmond project and what it means to the community. She will also present an overview of the One Initiative Redmond, which relates to the development of the new Downtown Park project.

The meeting will also recognize Jennifer Hawkins, a volunteer who has been preserving and cataloging RHS’ 20-year collection of negatives from Larry Stair.

The RHS is also raffling off a quilt in honor of Redmond’s Centennial celebration in 2012. Tickets are $2 each.
