The 2010 summer schedule at the popular “Movies @ Marymoor” outdoor cinema series in Redmond, sponsored by the Redmond Reporter, includes comedy, fantasy and science-fiction.
Movies are shown on Wednesday evenings on a 40-foot inflatable movie screen. The location is McNair Field, in the center of King County’s Marymoor Park, 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE in Redmond. Movie-goers can park in the adjacent lot with a $1 parking fee.
General admission seating is $5, starting at 7 p.m. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Movies are shown at dusk. Seating is on the grass, and low-back lawn chairs or blankets are recommended.
Popcorn, coffee and other treats are available for purchase from vendors in the park. Outside food is allowed. Alcohol use is strictly prohibited in King County Parks.
This is a dog-friendly event and people with pets are asked to sit at the far end of the seating area. Pets are required to be on a leash and under control at all times. Owners must clean up after pets.

• Aug. 18, 8:45 p.m., “Star Trek”
• Aug. 25, 8:30 p.m., “The Princess Bride”
