Theft: A man who lives in the 5300 block of 156th Avenue Northeast reported that his bicycle and the bicycle belonging to his roommate were stolen from outside his home.
Inside job: A suspect entered a closed business in the 1500 block of Northeast 20th Street and removed money from a safe. The suspect had a key to the business, the alarm code and safe combination.
Assault: A man was arrested after assaulting another man at a sports club in the 9000 block of Willows Road.
Tuesday, Nov. 11
Busted: Police pulled over a driver at the corner of Avondale Way and 170th Avenue for traffic infractions and then arrested the man on an active felony warrant.
Police searched his vehicle and found 460 grams of marijuana, a scale, plastic bags and two marijuana pipes.
He was booked into King County Jail on the warrant.
Monday, Nov. 10
Mail theft: A woman who lives in the 18000 block of Union Hill Road reported that she received an empty package in mail.
Usually, that package is full of medical prescription drugs the woman told police. She reported the incident to the delivery company.
Drugs: A high school student was arrested in the 17500 block of Northeast 104th Street for possession of marijuana.
Sunday, Nov. 9
Theft: Police arrested a woman for shoplifting at a business in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street.
Saturday, Nov. 8
Theft: Somebody stole a flat screen television, a video game system and video games from a residence in the 11400 block of Avondale Road. Police are investigating.
Friday, Nov. 7
This is my spot: Police responded to a fight on Northeast 29th Street. The two men were fighting over a panhandling spot, according to the police report. One man was arrested and booked into jail.
Thursday, Nov. 6
Forgery: A victim who lives in the 17300 block of Northeast 85th Place reported that his bank account number was used on two fraudulent checks that were cashed.
The victim did not recognize the name on the check.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
Returning to the scene of the crime: Police responded to a bus stop in the 2300 block of 148th Avenue Northeast because a man made threats to another person waiting for the bus.
The suspect ran away when police arrived, but he soon returned to the bus stop while police were questioning the victim. That’s when police arrested the suspect.
Green smell: A teller working for a bank in the 17800 block of Redmond Way reported that a woman deposited $2,000 in cash, which smelled like marijuana, according to the teller.
