Three more Redmond students named finalists in National Merit Scholarship Competition

Two Redmond students from International Community School have been named as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition, bringing Lake Washington School District's total up to 23 students -- 15 of whom are from Redmond -- who have been selected as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Three Redmond students from International Community School (ICS) and Lakeside School in Seattle have been named as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition.

The two ICS students bring Lake Washington School District’s total up to 23 students — 15 of whom are from Redmond — who have been selected as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition.

As finalists, these students are now qualified to receive National Merit Scholarships, including $2,500 awards, corporate-sponsored scholarships or college-sponsored scholarships. About 15,000 students nationally have been named finalists in this competition.
