MAPS in Redmond to hold monthly cultural awareness events

The Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS) at 17550 N.E. 67th Ct. in Redmond has started a program aimed to invite the community to cultural events and build bridges of understanding and appreciation for others.

The Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS) at 17550 N.E. 67th Ct. in Redmond has started a program aimed to invite the community to cultural events and build bridges of understanding and appreciation for others.

The series will include screening documentaries and community forums that offer information exchange as well as a chance to experience aspects of Muslim culture and ask questions. There will also be dinner available at these events for $5.

The first event was held April 17 and the program will be held monthly on the third Tuesday of the month.
