The American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 21-RD of Redmond is offering a $500 scholarship to a Redmond High School (RHS) student.

The student must have achieved a minimum 3.0 grade-point average in high school; been accepted to a technical, trade or two- or four-year college; preference will be given to a trade or technical degree, however, all applications will be reviewed and considered.

Applications are due by 2:15 p.m. April 16. Applications should be submitted to the RHS College and Career Center. The scholarship recipient will be notified by May 2.
