In addition to local 10th through 12th grade students selected to participate in All-Northwest and All-State music ensembles in 2009, the following students from local junior high schools have been chosen for these honors.
In the senior high school category (9th grade), selected music students are: Sierra Allen, Redmond Junior High, All-State Concert Band; Emma Wright, Redmond Junior High, All-State Symphonic Choir; Alex Lin, Redmond Junior High, All-State Orchestra.
In the junior high school category, music students from Redmond schools are : Alexander Ronneburg, Redmond Junior High, All-State Band; Karl Ronneburg, Redmond Junior High, All-State Band; Sean Yang, Evergreen Junior High, All-State Band; Mariama Suwaneh, Redmond Junior High, All-State Choir; Albert Daschle, Redmond Junior High, All-State Orchestra; Lydia Hsu, Redmond Junior High, All-State Orchestra; Jennie Kim, Redmond Junior High, All-State Orchestra; Chelsea Liu, Redmond Junior High, All-State Orchestra; Adrianna Svitak, Redmond Junior High, All-State Orchestra.
These students will travel to Spokane over the President’s Day weekend for three intensive days of rehearsal and performances with other outstanding music students from Washington and neighboring states.
