Wednesday, May 22

Disorderly conduct: At 6:53 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported brandishing of a handgun. RPD spokesperson Jim Bove said a woman was at her home in the 11500 block of 133rd Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn with a male friend when her ex-boyfriend arrived at the house, “adamant that he wanted to get in and talk to or fight the other male.” Bove said the ex-boyfriend threatened the man inside the house, saying he would damage the man’s truck. At some point, the ex-boyfriend left the property, returning a few minutes later and began yelling at the man inside that he wanted to fight. The man in the house at some point took a gun out and told the other man to leave and that he would use the gun to defend himself if he was attacked.

Vehicle prowl: It was reported at 3:11 p.m. that a woman’s vehicle was prowled while she was at work in the 9400 block of Willows Road in Grass Lawn.

Theft: At 1:05 p.m., officers investigated a theft that occurred at a school in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street on Education Hill.

Grand theft auto: Redmond police investigated the report of a stolen vehicle at 11:26 a.m. from the 16000 block of Northeast 36th Way in Overlake.

Tuesday, May 21

Theft: An employee of a construction site at Northeast 85th Street and 158th Avenue Northeast downtown contacted police at 12:20 p.m.to report an unknown suspect had stolen his backpack. An investigation is pending.
