Monday, April 14
Lock your door: A suspect entered an unlocked apartment in the 16900 block of Northeast 80th Street and stole several video game systems.
Drive-by rocking: A man who lives in the 8600 block of 170th Circle Northeast reported that someone threw rocks at his vehicle as they drove by his home, causing damage to his vehicle.
Sunday, April 13
Assault: An intoxicated man assaulted a woman outside a tavern in the 7800 block of Leary Way. Police searched the area, but could not find the man.
Thefts: In a span of two hours, there were three different car prowl reports — all involving unlocked vehicles — within three blocks of each other. The first report came around 8:40 p.m. in the 119000 block of 158th Avenue Northeast, where the suspect entered two of the victim’s unlocked vehicles, taking a six-inch monitor from one of the vehicles.
The second one was around 9:20 p.m. in the 11700 block of 157th Avenue Northeast, where the suspect stole an iPod from the unlocked vehicle. About 20 minutes later, police investigated another car prowl on the same block. The suspect took a checkbook and $200 cash from the unlocked vehicle. The fourth report came in around 10:10 p.m. in the 11700 block of 159th Avenue Northeast, where the suspect entered the unlocked vehicle and stole a purse.
Saturday, April 12
DUI: A Bellevue man was arrested for driving under the influence after he crashed into a parked car while attempting to leave a parking lot in the 7800 block of Leary Way Northeast.
Friday, April 11
Battling high gas prices: Police received a call about a theft of diesel fuel from a box truck in the 14700 block of Northeast 91st Street. The vehicle belongs to Flying Saucer Pizza.
Stalking: A woman reported that a man followed her from a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast and blocked her car in a parking stall while he attempted to flirt with her. The woman gave police officers a description of the man, but was unable to recall the license plate number of the man’s vehicle.
Thursday, April 10
Tree assault: A man was arrested for driving under the influence after he drove his company van into a tree in the parking lot of the Value Village in the 16700 block of Redmond Way. There was no damage to the building, according to the police report.
Wednesday, April 9
Burglary: Somebody entered a locked storage unit in the 15500 block of Northeast 90th Street through the wire ceiling and stole six wheels and tires, along with 180 compact discs.
Sour tune: A Redmond police officer was flagged down by a manager of a business in the 16600 block of Redmond Way. The manager told the officer that a suspect had just stolen a $2,400 instrument from his store. The manager chased the suspect on foot for several blocks but lost the suspect. Officers checked the area, but found no one.
Tuesday, April 8
Car prowl: Redmond police officers responded to a car prowl in progress in the 15200 block of Northeast 24th Street. Officers set up a perimeter and searched the area, but could not find any suspects. A purse sitting in the center console was stole from the vehicle.
