Redmond Saturday Market to hold screening event for new vendors on Feb. 27

The Redmond Saturday Market (RSM) will hold a screening event from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Redmond Senior Center (RSC), 8703 160th Ave. N.E., in room 109.

The Redmond Saturday Market (RSM) will hold a screening event from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Redmond Senior Center (RSC), 8703 160th Ave. N.E., in room 109.

Potential vendors are asked to arrive any time between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. — no earlier than 1:30 p.m. and no later than 3 p.m., to allow enough time to be screened.

Applicants will be juried in order of arrival and screening will continue until everyone has been screened.

RSM will only be interviewing people who make a product in a category that they have opened this year. The closed categories are bath and body products, baked goods (other than bread and gluten-free), concessionaires (any ready-to-eat food), cut flowers and jewelry.

Processed/specialty food makers are highly encouraged to contact the information address before the jury date at info@redmondsaturdaymarket.org to make sure their specific food product is a potentially opened category at market. For example RSM is not going to screen candy, wine or honey. They will be screening jams, jellies, pickles, salad dressing and sauces among other products.
