Veterans and families invited to Nov. 10 event at Rosa Parks Elementary

All local military veterans and their families are invited to a Veterans Appreciation event from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Rosa Parks Elementary School, 22845 NE Cedar Park Crescent, Redmond.

All local military veterans and their families are invited to a Veterans Appreciation event from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Rosa Parks Elementary School, 22845 NE Cedar Park Crescent, Redmond.

The students, staff, and their families will provide coffee, baked goods, speeches, poems, music, class projects and more. There will be a station to display relics, artifacts, flags, uniforms, letters and photos. All participants will have an opportunity to share a few words or personal stories.
