Redmond Mayor John Marchione and Bellevue Mayor Grant Degginger will be the featured speakers for the Wednesday, April 16 Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon.

The luncheon will be held at Matt’s Rotisserie and Oyster Bar’s new Community Room. The event starts at 11:30 a.m.

Bellevue and Redmond have a commonality of needs. Being linked by Redmond’s southernmost border, the two cities find themselves in a conundrum of invisible boundaries. Most citizens and visitors have no idea where one city ends and the other begins.

These two mayors are making an effort to work together to create a concept for the Overlake area that breeds business success and seamless transition between the two cities.
