Overlake’s Sameeksha Dangi, Anya Sharma, Sophie Sharp, Glyn Carson and Ryan Bartlow competed at the 1A state cross-country championships on Nov. 9 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.

In the girls race, Sharp took 43rd (20:27.70), Sharma took 53rd (21:01.70) and Dangi took 98th (21:53.30).

On the boys’ side, Bartlow took 96th (17:57.00) and Carson took 126th (18:27.10).
