For the second consecutive year, Montessori Children’s House (MCH) in Redmond has been named the best Eastside preschool.

For over 30 years, MCH has been educating children at their unique Montessori school. Built into the daily curriculum is time spent in the school’s centrally located organic garden and interactions with the school’s on-site farm animals — chickens, bunnies, goats and more. Nestled into a unique, 5-acre setting surrounded by wetlands and forested areas, MCH’s elementary playground gained national media attention for its use of repurposed materials (a downed tree as a balance beam, a reused water pipe as a massive tunnel). Adding to its many outdoor spaces is an extensive, fully fenced nature trail.
