Ben Rush’s Kaitlyn Ellington takes first place at Chinese Scholastic Competition

The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction recently announced that second-grader Kaitlyn Ellington from Benjamin Rush Elementary School in Redmond won first place in the 2012 Chinese Scholastic Competition held in March in Seattle.

Her entry in the Individual Poetry won first place in the K-2 Primary division.
