Monday, June 12
Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 3:58 p.m. in the 18600 block of Northeast 58th Court. A new resident began unpacking after moving into an apartment and noted approximately three boxes were missing. The victim hired individuals to assist unloading her U-Haul truck, which was unattended for a significant period of time during the process. No suspect information is available.
Sunday, June 11
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 12:29 p.m. in the 19500 block of Redmond Road. Officers responded to a city park after a vehicle owner heard her car alarm going off, noticed damage to her car window and observed another vehicle leaving the area. Multiple items were taken from the victim’s vehicle through the smashed out window. Officers searched for the dark blue sedan seen leaving the area but were not able to locate it.
Saturday, June 10
Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 4:18 a.m. in the 17300 block of Northeast 85th Place. Officers were called to an apartment complex after receiving a call of people fighting. Both individuals involved were separated when officers arrived. The scuffle occurred between intoxicated friends, and any injuries that resulted were superficial. The incident is being reviewed by the prosecutor’s office to determine any criminal charges.
Friday, June 9
Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 4:48 a.m. in the 7800 block of 168th Avenue Northeast. An officer located an individual sleeping in a city park. This individual is well known to officers and has been warned on multiple prior occasions regarding the city law of being in a park after hours. The subject was arrested for trespassing.
Thursday, June 8
Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 1:05 p.m. in the 16300 block of Northeast 104th Street. A citizen reported finding fraudulent activity on his checking account. An unknown suspect cashed one of his checks made out to someone that the victim does not know. The case is under investigation.
Wednesday, June 7
Robbery: Redmond police took a robbery report at 9:04 p.m. in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street. Staff at a retail store observed three subjects select merchandise and attempt to leave the store without paying for it. When confronted by the staff, one of the suspects displayed a taser-style stun gun and threatened an employee. The suspects fled in a vehicle. No injuries were sustained. Video footage is being reviewed to identify the trio.
