The San Francisco, Calif.-based automotive buyer intelligence firm Autolist.com has released its Most Affordable Areas study and ranked Redmond the No. 4 most affordable place to buy a used vehicle in Washington.

The study, which draws on more than 81 million vehicles and 4.6 billion unique data points across vehicles of all makes and models nationwide, shows that used vehicles in Redmond are on average $507 less than the Washington average. In addition, Autolist.com ranks Washington the No. 44 most affordable place to buy a used car in the nation, with average prices $975 above the national average.

In terms of specific vehicles, Autolist.com’s study points to the Porsche Panamera being the most affordable used vehicle in Redmond, with prices $1,532 below the Washington average.

According to the study, the top five most affordable used models in Redmond are:

Porsche Panamera, $1,532 below the state average

BMW 7 Series, $1,487 below the state average

Chevrolet Corvette, $1,338 below the state average

Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, $1,262 below the state average

Mercedes-Benz M-Class, $1,223 below the state average

Autolist.com’s study also provides the most affordable in-state and national rankings for vehicles and locations, including following top five most affordable used vehicles in Washington:

Chevrolet Malibu Limited, $956 below the national average

Ford Transit Wagon, $760 below the national average

BMW 4 Series, $431 below the national average

Ford F-250 Super Duty, $134 below the national average

Chevrolet Impala Limited, $92 below the national average

As a result, according to Autolist.com, there is an opportunity for people to save hundreds if not thousands of dollars on their next vehicle by taking advantage of geographic differences in used vehicle prices.
