Azizah Magazine hosted its Expression of Style fashion show — its first in the Pacific Northwest — Dec. 10 at the Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS) in Redmond. The event featured modest styles by five Indonesian designers and two local designers.

Azizah, a lifestyle magazine celebrating the stories and accomplishments of Muslim women, held the women-only elegant affair in partnership with MAPS, the Muslim Community Resource Center and the Everett Muslim Community Center.

“The show featured talented fashion designers and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and Indonesia who, through their Islamic faith, are shaping the international modest wear industry through their creations of modest wear and ready to made outfits,” read a press release.
