Deanna Jean Armstrong

Deanna Jean Armstrong, 65, died December 31, 2008 at her home in Bellevue, WA. She was born May 18, 1943 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Eula and Gene Armstrong. She worked for Boeing and Rocket Research. She was an avid gardener sharing the fruits of her labor with friends and neighbors. Deanna spent many hours working at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are cousins Anita Graber, Nancy Hime, Billie Ann Hefner, Martin and Charles McGinty and her beloved cat, Amanda. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and caregivers. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 22, at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, 17222 NE 8th Street, Bellevue. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Bellevue Botanical Garden, 12001 Main Street, Bellevue, WA 98005.
