Mary Lou Mack

Mary Lou Larsen was raised in Redmond on Avondale Road. Her entire school career was spent at Redmond’s red brick school house. There she made many lifetime friends. She graduated as a proud member of the class of 1943. Throughout her lifetime she remained a proud supporter of her school and attended many of the alumni events.

In 1946 she married William Mack. They had four children. She also helped to raise numerous foster children. With time she became a very proud grandmother and great grandmother. She and Bill retired to Whidby Island. They remained married 63 years till Bill’s death. Shortly after his death she moved to Seattle. She died peacefully on June 20, 2014.

A memorial bench is being installed in her name. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to “The Memorial Bench Fund, 14401 1st Ave. NW, Seattle, WA 98177
