My daughter is a neighbor and friend to Lilly Reasor. Together we have started a donation drive for Lilly and the other displaced families. They have lost everything, pretty much.
The gutted apartments are right outside our bedroom windows. Some of you may have heard the reports of marijuana use. I am running across this obstacle in getting people to help. They ALWAYS smoked outside. David had just passed a drug test to get hired by the property.
Lilly tried to handle the fire herself and when she went for the extinguisher, she couldn’t get back in. She is human and she will have to live with her decision the rest of her life. But right now, we have fire victims that need you, the community, to support them and if you are in a position, on behalf of the families, I am asking you for help. I am asking for gift and prepaid cards for the families to get clothes and household items.
I have no storage and if you choose to donate cash, I will refer you to the Sammamish Ridge Resident Manager, Teresa Lunsford at (425) 881-6108.
These families are homeless, and now, we, the community, can do something about this.
The Redmond Chamber of Commerce is contacting its members and I want to thank all of them for their support. Your show of support could be life changing. Hope to hear from you. To contact me, call (425) 533-8119 or email ogdengirl@ymail.com
