Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 9 a.m. in the 15000 block of Northeast 116th Street. Someone smashed a car window while the owner was on a trail and stole a purse, wallet, keys and several bank cards.

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report for $9,500 at 2:11 p.m. in the 1000 block of 161 Avenue Northeast. A woman received a scam call from someone purporting to be from an out-of-state police department. The scammer advised that her grandson needed money to be bonded out for a crime and requested she not contact local law enforcement, as this was an FBI issue. The victim withdrew the cash and sent it via courier to another state.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of check fraud at 6:33 p.m. from a former employee at a business in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street.
Saturday, Oct. 22
Trespassing: Redmond police responded to a potential fraud at 2:55 p.m. at a business in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. Officers criminally trespassed one man from the store.

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 2:41 p.m. in the 7900 block of 170th Avenue Northeast. Officers investigated the theft of surveillance equipment from an apartment garage.
