Redmond, Bear Creek and Overlake golfers qualify for state tournament

Four Redmond High golfers will compete in the 4A state tournament on May 24-25. The girls event is at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco and the boys event is at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland.

Four Redmond High golfers will compete in the 4A state tournament on May 24-25. The girls event is at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco and the boys event is at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland.

They are: Ally Collier, Conner Golembeski, Sean Kato and Lauren Settle.

The Mustang girls finished second in district and third in Kingco last week at the Snohomish Golf Course. Settle was fourth overall with a two-day 158 and Collier was sixth with a 164.

Five Bear Creek and Overlake golfers qualified for 1A state on May 24-25 at Liberty Lake Golf Course in Spokane.

They are: Bear Creek — Madison Baugh, John Hayes and Oliver Nordberg; Overlake — Rohit Sirosh and Trent Gardner.
