Identity theft: Police received a call for identity theft at 8:26 p.m. from the 8700 block of 160th Avenue Northeast. A victim reported that their credit card information had been used at the Redmond Macy’s to purchase a diamond ring for more than $1,000. Police are investigating.

Burglary: At 11:47 a.m., officers responded to a residential burglary report from the 9400 block of 135th Place Northeast. Suspect(s) smashed a large front window concealed by a large bush and ransacked the master bedroom.

Monday, July 4

Vehicle prowl: At 2:50 p.m., officers received a report for a vehicle prowl in the 17900 block of Redmond Way. The passenger window was broken and a purse and wallet were stolen.

Grand theft auto: Officers received a call for a stolen vehicle at 9:33 a.m. from the 9000 block of Avondale Road. A BMW X5 was stolen from a condominium parking lot. The victim had two vehicles and believes that one night, an unlocked vehicle containing an extra set of keys to the BMW was entered and the keys were later used to steal the vehicle.

Sunday, July 3

Stolen vehicle recovery: Police recovered a stolen vehicle at 9:30 a.m. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Bellevue in 2013 and was recovered in the trail parking lot near the 17600 block of Northeast 70th Street.

Trespass: At 12:21 a.m., officers took a trespass report from a store in the 15800 block of Redmond Way. Employees asked that a man be removed from the premises. The man became aggressive with officers, resisted going with them, was arrested and booked into jail.

Saturday, July 2

Vehicle prowl: At 11:46 p.m., a vehicle prowl was reported online, coming from the 4600 block of 168th Court Northeast.

Shoplifting: Officers responded to a shoplifting call at 3:57 p.m. from the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Police detained three juvenile shoplifters at Sears and Marshalls.

Friday, July 1

Burglary: Police responded to a burglary at 9:18 a.m. in the 8200 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. Several storage units were broken into. Bikes among other property were stolen.

Vehicle prowls: Officers responded to two vehicle prowl reports between about 8:45 a.m. and 9:05 a.m. in the 8100 block of 138th Avenue Northeast. A suitcase and gym bag were among items taken.
