Tuesday, Sept. 6

Bike theft: Redmond police took a bike-theft report at 6:57 p.m. in the 7700 block of 178th Place Northeast. Officers investigated the theft of a blue Giant $200 bicycle from the park and ride. After running late, the victim said he did not secure his bicycle to the rack and it was gone when he returned.

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 2:51 p.m. in the 16600 block of Northeast 41st Street. Officers investigated a burglary when a man reported a home had been burglarized. There were no signs of forced entry and the man reported a key had been left out for a pet-walking service. Cash and women’s clothing were stolen.

Monday, Sept. 5

Burglaries: Redmond police took two residential-burglary reports at 3:22 p.m. in the 13600 block of Northeast 102nd Street and at 12:37 p.m. in the 14200 block of Northeast 84th Court. In the first case, someone removed an outer window screen from a deck and took a computer, employee badge and jewelry. In the second case, a resident reported they left their garage door open. Someone rifled through two vehicles in the garage and stole a $4,000 black Trek Domane 5.2 bike.

Sunday, Sept. 4

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 4:44 p.m. in the 8800 block of Red-Wood Road. Residents at a condominium complex reported that someone pried open a mailbox and stole two business checks.

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 4:30 p.m. in the 7400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. More than $1,000 in fragrances were reported stolen from Macy’s.

Saturday, Sept. 3

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 3:24 p.m. in the 15500 block of Northeast 31st Street. A woman who works as a janitor at Microsoft Corp. reported that while working, she asked her supervisor for more cleaning supplies and the supervisor threw a set of keys at her, hitting her in the face.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 12:01 p.m. in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. An unlocked vehicle was broken into overnight and car maintenance items were taken.

Friday, Sept. 2

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 2:31 p.m. in the 18600 block of Northeast 55th Way. A woman reported that there were fraudulent charges on her credit card from “Zappos” and “Monsters Domain.”

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a home at 2:17 p.m. in the 6100 block of 149th Court Northeast. Officers made contact with a suspect who was staying there and he was then detained for a separate felony warrant. Stolen items were located at nearby pawn shops.

Thursday, Sept. 1

Found it: Redmond police recovered a stolen vehicle at 6:50 p.m. in the 10600 block of 157th Avenue Northeast. The vehicle was cluttered but still had plates and appeared driveable.

Trespassing: Redmond police took a computer-trespassing report at 11:53 a.m. in the 15400 block of Northeast 92nd Street. A business reported that their computer system was accessed illegally, there may be a potential breach of data and they have since removed the malicious code.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

Counterfeiting: Redmond police took a counterfeiting report at 8:54 p.m. in the 16200 block of Cleveland Street. Molly Moons reported that a male and female ordered two double-scoop cones with hot fudge, paid with a $100 bill, received change and put some money in the tip jar. It was later discovered the $100 bill was counterfeit.

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 6:47 p.m. in the 16700 block of Redmond Way. A suspect tried on clothes at Value Village, kept them on and left the store without paying.
