Redmond seniors win district title, take fourth place at state

The Redmond senior Little League all-star team recently won the District 9 championship against Eastlake, 10-5. The team advanced to the state tournament in Vancouver and finished in fourth place.

The Redmond senior Little League all-star team recently won the District 9 championship against Eastlake, 10-5. The team advanced to the state tournament in Vancouver and finished in fourth place.

At districts, pitchers Miles Cameron and Nick Roels notched victories. On the hitting front, Drew Glass had a triple and a double, Cameron and Aaron Dodge had two doubles each and Jay Reierson had one double.

The remaining players are Adam Brady, Dave Brunner, Reed Christianson, George Hebard, Tyler Holmen, Robert Kinney, Chris Pascale, Jarrod Sage, Collin Seidel and Nate Skewis. Manager is Joe Skewis and coaches are Don Brady and Ron Kinney.

The team is made up of 15- and 16-year-olds and is a combination of players from Redmond North and Redmond West Little Leagues, including one player from Sno-Valley North Little League.
