Thursday, March 15
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to two reports of shoplifting in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast of Overlake. The first came at 6:32 p.m. and a juvenile suspect was arrested. The second report came at 8:07 a.m.
Assault: Redmond police investigated two reports of assault downtown. The first came at 11:21 a.m. in the 7400 block of 170th Avenue Northeast allegedly between two male subjects, which turned out to be unfounded. The second came from a business in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street at 7:18 p.m. The victim was unwilling to pursue charges.
Car prowl: At 8:27 a.m., Redmond police investigated a report of a car prowl at a business in the 9100 block of Willows Road in the Grasslawn neighborhood.
Wednesday, March 14
Possession: At 11:43 p.m., Redmond police found drug paraphernalia and meth in a vehicle with two individuals in the 11500 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill. The two suspects were placed under arrest and the vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant.
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a reported shoplift at 4:29 p.m. in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Overlake. A juvenile suspect was arrested.
Vehicle prowl: At 4:15 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of a vehicle prowl in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast on Education Hill. Unknown suspect(s) smashed out a window and took paperwork from the vehicle.
Fraud: Redmond police responded to two reports of fraud downtown. The first came at 11:10 a.m. in the 7900 block of Willows Road in regard to an elderly victim who is allegedly being financially exploited by his son. The victim is currently residing at a convalescent center in Redmond. The second report came at 12:45 p.m. from the 15600 block of Redmond Way. The complainant reported unknown suspect(s) used their business name to open a fraudulent online account last month. The victim received a billing statement for fraudulent shipping costs related to this account. No suspect information known at time of report.
Tuesday, March 13
Trespassing: At 9:14 p.m., four adults were found in a park in the 7800 block of 168th Avenue Northeast downtown after dark.
Shoplifting: At 6:16 p.m., Redmond police responded to a theft report at a business in the 15800 block of Redmond Way downtown. The suspect was arrested.
Burglary: At 2:03 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported burglary that occurred overnight in the 15300 block of Northeast 96th Place.
Vehicle prowl: It was reported at 12:41 p.m. that a brand new Kindle 3G was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 16500 block of Northeast 35th Court in Overlake.
