Despite owning the lower weights, the Redmond High wrestling team suffered four pins and ended up falling to the Falcons 42-24 last night in a 4A Kingco matchup.

Highlights for Redmond included Matt Amaral (113) defeating Ridge Peterson 7-3, Christian Hammond (120) defeating Saul Toro 12-6, Brandon Long beating Garrett Foss 9-4, and Eli Grady defeating Kurtis Maxx 9-4.

The Mustangs also notched two pins, sophomore standout Marcio De Faria (138) over Everett Bingisser in 1 minutes, 8 seconds, and Jacob Grant over Austin French with one second left in the first round, in 1:59.
