Tuesday, March 10

“Vegetable matter” violation: Police pulled over a vehicle in the 8800 block of 148th Avenue Northeast “for various equipment violations,” according to a police report. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Police searched the vehicle and found some “green, leafy vegetable matter.” The passenger was placed into custody for investigation of possession of marijuana, less than 40 grams. The driver was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Fraud: An unknown suspect attempted to fraudulently use a Redmond woman’s debit card in Seattle. The woman, who lives in the 7000 block of 143rd Place Northeast, told police she never lost possession of her debit card and is unsure how someone acquired her account numbers and security code.

Monday, March 9

Drugs: A driver was stopped for traffic infractions in the 148th Avenue Northeast and then was placed into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Police investigated a theft of petty cash at a business in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street.

Car prowl: The rear window of a vehicle, parked in the 14400 block of Northeast 76th Street was smashed and a backpack was taken, sometime in the middle of the night.

Sunday, March 8

GPS unit stolen: The window of a vehicle, parked in the 15600 block of Northeast 40th Street, was smashed and a GPS unit was stolen.

Saturday, March 7

Right suspect?: Police investigated an assault at a business in the 7800 block of Leary Way. A suspect was detained at the scene, but the victim was unable to identify him as the suspect.

Shopping spree: A Redmond man’s ex-girlfriend activated a credit card in his name and then spent $800 at two different department stores. The man lives in the 7000 block of 151st Avenue Northeast and the woman will be charged through investigation.

Pay the cabbie: A taxi driver reported that a man he took to an apartment complex at the corner of Northeast 45th Street and 156th Avenue Northeast left without paying him. Officers searched the area, but could not find the suspect.

Burglary attempt: A man who lived in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast cam home at around 1 a.m. to see an unknown suspect jumping from the balcony of his second-story apartment. Nothing was missing from the apartment.

Friday, March 6

Heated argument: Police responded to a verbal dispute between two juveniles who were dating. No crime occurred; however, the girl was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Shoplifting: Police arrested an Issaquah woman for shoplifting jewelry from a department store in the 7400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.

Where’s my motorcycle?: A man who lives in the 2400 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast bought a motorcycle on craiglist.com and never received the motorcycle after he made the payment.

Thursday, March 5

Stolen paycheck: Police investigated a report in which one employee from a business in the 7200 block of 166th Avenue Northeast may have stolen another employee’s paycheck.
