The Redmond Youth Partnership Advisory Committee‘s (RYPAC) annual Girls Unlimited series continues this year with the theme “What if girls ran the world” on March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Redmond City Hall, 15670 N.E. 85th St.

This is the last in the series for the year and is titled “Dress Up, Make Up, Go Up!” This session will address issues of image, bullying, and stereotypes.

Targeted for young women aged 12 to 19 years old, this program is a day of fun and learning. Local community leaders share stories about their experiences and give tips on how to deal with issues as they occur or help friends in need. There will be interactive activities highlighting issues young women face.

Girls Unlimited began with the goal to empower young women in the community to take charge of their lives and be a part of their change.

The event fee is $10 and prior registration is recommended. Scholarships are available. To register, go to www.redmond.gov/econnect and enter course #38944. For more information, email rypac@redmond.gov.
